Hi, Douglas here.

I am a woodworker. If I am not reading or writing my thoughts out, I am most likely in one of three places: the lumber store, the woodworking tools of a hardware shop, or at my garage shop.

And while I put in a lot of hours at the shop, I don’t feel the rigors of hard work. For this reason, I dare say I am more of a wood lover, but that is a whole lot of a different thing, I guess.

I don’t do this stuff for a living. At fifty, with grown-up kids and a humble business to get by, I only have my wife and myself to look after. Thus released from the daily grind, I now have the time to do the things I like– building stuff.

For about four years now, I’ve done countless woodworking projects that were well accepted in the buying community. Most of these clients are repeat customers, while the newer customers are mere referrals made by the older ones. How wonderful can that be?

I wished most, if not all, get to where I am at. But I guess happiness is relative, and contentment is the perfect balance of that relativity.

Let's collab!
